This small black Bakelite camera also exists in brown.
This replica of the Ruberg and Renner Baby Ruby (and similar) is considered by Ricoh to be its first camera, as Ricoh* acquired Asahi-Bussan in 1937.
* Or rather Riken, the predecessor of Ricoh, with the latter brand only being adopted in the 1960s.

1915 | The proposal for the creation of the Rikagaku Kenkyūsho Institute of Physical and Chemical Research is presented to the Japanese parliament. |
